The radio in my MM is acting up. The am and fm tuner works intermitantly. The cd works fine all the time. It acts like you unplug the antena and after you play a cd for a while it starts working. Any suggestions.
The tuners seem to go out on the radios. Do you have an 03 or 04. I have one used radio here and some are in parts for sale. Also look at Pops Stereo for replacements. I can help you if you want to that direction to. Thanks John [Pops}

Its an 03. Do these cars have an antena module or antena strait to the radio?

It's the frequency locking circuit and your unit can be repaired or replaced with a repaired unit by your dealer ($300) or you can contact United Radio at 800-448-0944 and send it to them!!:beer:

Out of curiosity, is that United Radio on Erie Blvd, Syracuse, NY? I know they do OEM repairs on multiple brands.

You're right, I forgot they moved the commercial side to there. Police/EMS/Fire radios still on Erie Blvd last I knew.
Thats great info to have. I can just take my OEM over there for repair if needed. Only 35 minutes away. Thanks!

Makes for a lot quicker turn around for you folks down south. They have always repaired things right the 1st time for me. Whether it was a 2 way radio or car stereo. I certainly recommend them :up: Can't say the same for the company we use now for our radios at work. 50/50 whether it comes back right, but the Boss wants them used because they are in his county.

Mine is doing the same - looks like I either repair it or upgrade to a navigation unit.
