I'm wodering if I'm missing part of my left frt wheel liner? I notice the bottom 1/2 of the front left area of my l/f inner wheelhouse is exposed. you can see a wire that leads somewhere. I stopped by the dealer and they claim I'm not missing anything. I'll try to post some pics.... Please help!

No you're not missing anything. I've wondered the same thing about my car for a while but now that I see it on your car I'm sure this is normal. The wire leads to your foglight. I suppose that the right one is covered to protect the lower intake from sucking road debris into the airbox. But then again, the airbox is on the left... I dunno. Crazy Ford engineers, gotta love em!

Thanks! I should have taken the pic's AFTER I cleand off the crap. I noticed this when I was wiping down the MM after a winter ride. This looked odd to me, so I'm glad all is well.

Don't feel bad, I ran over something plastic and thought it had fallen off. Took it back to my selling dealer (MM was new) and they tried to order the part. I learned here that nothing was missing. The dealer didn't believe me and ordered it anyway... then found out no such part :o

It could be to let the airbox breathe some more??
Anyways, that's the hole you stick your paw in to change your foglight. On the right, you have to find a rubber flap velcroed in place to get the foglight. Before I knew that, I put my MM up on ramps. To change a lightbulb. Boy, did I feel like an idiot.

I took the entire panel off twice to change bulbs, before I saw the door, it's a pain anyway.

THeres a door? Where? Are you refering to the flap with the velcro holding it down?
