Sherm doesn't look too happy in the corner of that first pic. Guess he's tired of waiting for the tracks to open ... so he can get down to business this year.

It's a Trilogy Eaton M112 Generation V ported by Bob Stiegemeier and painted in black with polished edges.

I noticed an impatient 'Shermanator' in the backround of the picture also...

It looks like he's thinking:

"OK! Let's get that bad boy blower bolted back on my engine so we can crack a few 9's!"

It's a long story, but to make it short it's a little friendly competition between Doom and I. When he saw my polished value covers last year he had Chris make him a set to complete the bling under the hood thing. I, on the took a different approach. Thus the title to the thread " Black is Beautiful. My car is still under construction and the final pictures we be released in a couple of weeks. The black blower in the first picture is mine not Sherman's. It will not be long before he has the same setup.

Great looking SC - good luck with the ported blower. How many HP did you gain with the ported job? I guess 11.719 is gonna be history real soon. You'll be cutting low 11s soon. I guess the next step is a roll cage.

Great job. :banana2:

Actually Glenn the blower was ported last year. Chris removed it due to a vacuum leak and cracking paint. In the process he found a ton of oil saturating the intake. We also wanted to inspect the values. The number one reason for this work was to relocation the IAT sensor and upgraded fuel system. Now we can aggressively tune the car. I can predict that I will be kicked off a few tracks in the fall. Pam says no roll bar. She also told me no blower. There is some talk at the Vining camp (Line to Line racing) about adding NOS. A 10 second run would be easy at that point. I need a new tune now.

It's one of the mods Chis is doing to my car. I just posted the pictures and started a thread to get people excited about being Marauder owners again. I for one don't want our site turned into TCS (Troll Central Station).

I got what Bob calls Stage V. Unless you are running an upgraded engine it's not worth the money and time needed for porting. We are not, I repeat , not running the same port configuration as seen on the 03/04 Cobra Eaton M112.

Need to adjust your monitor... its red:P. Its anaerobic flange sealant. Blower comes off the motor alot easier if ya gotta take it off.

And it's a pain to clean up, I'm sure mark will take care of that;).

Good call Joe way to show whats really on your mind.

I have never made the Kentucky trip in the past. Hopefully I will be a the VA Beach car show on the boardwalk this year. I have not seen a flyer for this event yet. Keep me posted if it does happen.

I always use the Aenerobic Gasket maker myself.
I suggested it to JB back in the hayday and he brushed me off.
Oh well!

One more thing...
Whenever you remove the blower, I found that loosening all of the blower bolts (while its still on the car) then a few good blows to the snout of the blower with a rubber mallet will seperate the two with great ease.
