OK from what ive been told our wheels are chrome with clearcoat sprayed on top? If so how do i go about stripping the clear coat off? I was told by a few rim guys that salt will not hurt real chrome. True? Not True? :help:

Our wheels are polished aluminum with a heavy duty Clear over them.

If you chrome your wheels, how they hold up to the elements will be based on how well the Chromer prepped them and quality of materials used.

Bottom line, get winter wheels and tires.
