Contact Dennis Reinhart, I beleive he's got a line on several pair.

Just curious, with all the problems finding BFG's, why not go to aftermarket tires? They're prolly gonna be cheaper, and should wear a whole heck of a lot better than the OEM's.

That's what I did. The Hankooks are 2 years old and I think the nubs just wore off.

Reinhart has hankooks on one of his MM's (that he respectively smoked on a small launch) they look good but problem is i have four brand new BFG front tires thats why i was looking for rears. i want all four tires matching brands but seems like its gona be hard.

Chack a local salvage yard.... tehy will cost about $50 for both and they will be better than nothing.

I have one brand new (sticker still on it) rear OEM BFG tire that I could sell you. While searching for new ones for mine, I found one and bought it, then found a source that had two and wouldn't break the set, so I have ended up with three. Between what I had to pay for the tire and shipping, I'd need to get $225 for the tire just to break even plus whatever it costs to ship to you. Let me know if you are interested...you can call at 972-333-8991. Dave (Rocket Man)

No rear tires until June 2009 according to BF! My guys telling me his guy has 100 sets on order and they will be in by the end of April? The Marauder is now parked again until I can get a rear set on!

Did notice that the 2010 Carmaro LT will be using Tyres 245/55R18 / 245/50R19 ( http://www.autozine.org/0_News/Archive/2008_07/News_frame.html )

I hope this is true with the Camaro cuz that means some other car will be using this tire!

Michelin USA number is 800-847-3435 if you'd like to give them a shout!

I don’t know how they respond in the USA but when I called the Canadian office they didn’t care at all. All they said was June and there was nothing they could do. I’m planning on anything other than BFGs when the snows come off.

Suggest that you consider one of the aftermarket brands in 255/55/18 to replace your rear tires, many of us have switched over and are well pleased with the replacements.

Right now you can get:

Toyo Proxes S/T
Nitto NT420S
Falken Ziex S/TZ01 (could be 201, my writting is bad)
And of course the Goodyear F1's

The Goodyears are probably the best, but it gets a little hard to leave layers of them on the streets at approx. $250 each.

DITCH the BFG's you're wasting your money. You're better off paying someone to kick you in the coin purse.

I have a pair in great shape (wheels and tires) that I will happily trade even up for a set of widened rims ONLY.

I'm coming into this thread sort of late, but I'm also needing tires for front and rear. Discount Tire told me BFG doesn't make the rears. They recommended Yokohama in a 245/55/18 if I remember correctly and 235/50/18 for the front. Does that sound okay or does anyone have a better recommendation? Discount also recommended that I go up to 20s and try to sell my wheels. Pretty insane if you ask me.

Yokohama makes 245/55/18's? Earlier searches I tried indicated that BFG was the only manufacturer in that size. What do they want for 'em and what's the speed rating?

Fronts (235-50-18) can be had all day. I just bought the Nitto NT420S last Thursday at the local NTB and got a good deal ($310 out the door). I thought they looked pretty ugly on the on-line picture, but in real life on the car, they look pretty good. The Falkens I've seen resemble the stock tread pattern. Make sure the sidewall strength number is high enough for the weight of the car. The Nittos were 109's.
