My anti-theft light hasn't worked on the '03 Marauder since the day I bought it. Months back my EATC failed and I replaced the O-rings. When I ran the test mode it said the sun sensor failed.I decided since it was a nice day I would tackle both. I checked the manual and the LED light for the anti-theft and the sun sensor are combined. I pulled the dash cowl and the speedo cluster and there is no wiring plug to connect into the sun sensor/anti-theft LED. Any ideas? The manuals are very vague.

the only idea I have is that the plug was routed in the wrong place, check the wiring color code, and take a look under the dash, maybe just hanging behind the instrument cluster.

I pulled the cluster and traced what little wiring I could behind the dash. I'm not removing the dash just for this.

Take a look at these attachments. If I can help you more just ask.

Find the wire colors for the connector (c2228) in the second attachment. The connector should under the black upper dash panel, you shouldn't have to pull the cluster to see it.

For those following here is my reply to Larry via email.

Larry: Look at pages 151-15,16,17 anbd none show a harnees plug for C2228. Am i right? Every plug is accounted for but that one. The arrow points to the area but no plug. Thanks, George

The plastic piece that holds the anti-theft gismo is very easy to remove and there is a plug for the LED device!!

I simply cut about 4" off of a wooden paint stirrer and slip it in the gap between the vinyl dash cover and the plastic piece....pry the plastic piece up and the clips holding it release so just work your way across and lift the whole piece up and out.

If the plug is not connected plug it in!! If it still doesn't work you can replace the LED gismo very easily.....if that's not it.....SELL THE CAR!!!

My $.02!!:D

After digging and tracing I FOUND THE PLUG!
Everything works. It was hidden down behind the A/C ducts. Thanks for all the help.
