I went to a diplomatic function in Washington, D.C. and got to talk at length to a Canadian Diplomat and his wife who were in charge of TRADE RELATIONS. I proceeded to thank them for my cars that were built in Canada. To my surprise, they had never heard about the Marauder-even though the diplomat's wife is from Saint Thomas and her folks still live there!!
I told them about the various web sites and the interest in the car both here and in Canada. The diplomat was in a little shock and he promised to bring this conversation up on Monday when he was back at his office. Needless to say, he will look into this Canadian product and not caught unaware if the subject comes up in the future.
As we left, I told my friends who were with me , about the conversation I had with the diplomat. When the valet parking attendant brought up my friends van, he smiled and said:"too bad you didn't bring your Marauder-my guys would have loved to drive THAT CAR"
The evening's entertainment-fantastic. The surprise on the faces of the diplomat and his wife-outstanding. The comment from the parking valet-priceless!;)
