I have been a member of this site for a while know, just trying to gain as much knowledge about the marauder. I have a silver 04 MM (58,000 miles) 2nd owner got her at 32,000 miles. Unfortunately I'm not mechanicaly sound to say the least, but I respect and take great care of her. I have pretty much taken all of the advise for minor bolt on mods that the site has recommeded (FR 4.10 gears, Lidio's tune, K&N Intake, and Flowmaster 40's mufflers). I have been talking to Lidio for a couple weeks about installing the Trilogy Kit and may be able to drop the car off to him this Friday has long has he can get the kit shipped this week. My ? is looking at some of the timeslips with the Trilogy Kit they range any where from 380's to low to mid 400's as far has HP. I'm wondering why the difference in HP with the same kit? So with this being a major investment ($$$$), I'm hoping to be in the low to mid 400 HP range once the install is done. Am I expecting to much out of the kit and or will there be addl $$$ need to meet my expectation of low to mid 400HP range.

Boost pressure, tune, exhaust, lots of things can impact your hp gain.

You can have that power level with a Trilogy, but you will need a smaller pulley or some other supporting mods.
I dyno'ed 400 RWHP with a JLT and a base T-kit.
Now I'm back to running a factory airbox for the reduced NVH and enhanced warm weather performance.
My RWHP now is 370-380

The stock kit with a better tune will get you into the 400's no problem.

Yup, my Trilogy dynoed at 394 with just a JLT CAI and Lidio's tune via the SCT Xcal2.
Having added SW headers and cats, I've hit a serious problem with a/f going scary lean. We'll see what happens when it gets sorted out.

The Tril kit is an amazing mod, and support is good in it's base form to a stock MM. Start adding other stuff....well, keep Lidio on speed dial!

Normally a Marauder with a Vortech with a 3.6 pulley will make about 9 PSI and 4440 RWHP

Dennis, I'd like to talk about getting a refund on my Vortech kit. I'm not getting anywhere near 4,440 RWHP. :D
Guess I'd probably have to do some drive-line upgrades to handle that kind of power, eh?

PS. On a serious note, I'm putting my smaller pulley on my Vortech this weekend to compensate for the low atmospheric pressure up here at 4,500 feet, and I'm hoping to see ~9 psi. Will try to get a dyno pull sometime in the next month. As great as my car has run with the Vortech at 6psi, I can't wait to see how it is at 9!

The reason for the differance will be air and fuel. More air(lower elavation) and higher octane fuel will achieve greater RWH #'s

You can always max it out on the dyno....print the sheet out.... back the tune off to a safer level and show off your max sheet!

That's cool too!

But your track times may "out"you! That's why some stay off the track.........

Once again thinks for all the input, I had decided to go with the Trilogy kit becuase of two reason's. The first is I,m closer I'm Lidio than Dennis and the 2nd reason is you guys speak so highly of the Trilogy kits. BUT there's a small problem, Lidio advise me this afternoon that the kits Trilogy has in stock have some problems and there trying to fix them. So no install for now and I hope that the problem gets resloved soon, because I would love to have it installed no later then mid March. I hope that if the problem isn't fix with the kits before the end of this month, that i'll still be able to get the kit for the current price. I believe there was talks about the price would go up next month. For now I can only dream about being Trilogized!!!!!!!

Mine must not be running so well. I'm not getting a single hp over 4000 hp!!!
:D

Seriously, Dennis built mine and it made 447 rwhp at 8psi (belt was slipping).

Whether you go Vortech or Trilogy, you'll love the way the car runs.

That's another good reason to go with a Trilogy, you won't have any belt problems. :P

You say that the kits Trilogy has in stock have some problems??? Please explain.
And if you put an order in now for a kit you obviously get the current price.

I dynoed my ProCharger with 9si, no other mods except an air filter and tune and got about 400 HP. As good as the car felt, after I put in a 3500 converter the car really woke up.
I have to start driving it more...I love that car.

252life in response to your question of what's wrong with the kits? When Lidio called me back yesturday and told me there was a problem with the current kits that they have at Trilogy and that I couldnt drop the car of to him this Friday everything else that was said from that point on was like #@!@#@#!#!#!@!!#!#@! Unfortunately I can't tell you exactly what the problem is, Lidio did explain. But for some strange reason my mind keep replaying these words over and over again " NO TRILOGY" from that point on. The impression I got from Lidio was the problem is being looked into and he should be able to order me a kit and set another install date soon.

I understand that there is a delay waiting for some new blowers from Eaton, no big deal.
You'll get yours!

+1.....Too many owners doing a "glory pull" for the hp numbers alone. I love to see the actual videos of guys going down the 1320. That's where it's at!

I had to wait 5 weeks for all the kit parts for mine to come in to Jerry, and I was very impatient. Trust all us Tril owners, it'll be worth the wait. Outside vendors have different priorities in the big scheme of things, so be glad Jerry has all the other items ready to go.

Hang in there....
