Could this be the TT Marauder we have been speculating about?

Anyone know what the hell we are looking at here? Or who's it is? Looks like a DTR

I dont think its a hellion kit. and how could he not be a member!?

ChiTownMaraud3r
02-24-2009, 01:18 AM
My Marauder buddy in philly isn't a member here either, he had told me about this sick car owed by his friend, but I never thought much about it, until he posted a pic of it on myspace.

This goes to show you, just like Zack said, that there could be numerous rocket 10 sec MMs out there, and they don't even have a clue what this site is.

I'd like an under the car shot. Like where the x-member and pipes converge.

Looking at the positioning of the turbos, I'd say custom manifolds facing forwards with the turbos mounted directly to them and the downpipes running over top and down the factory position by the firewall. VERY sexy indeed!

Those are turbos.... appears to be a panther.

I have to disagree with you.
Whomever did this is a genius.

I think its safe to say there is No AC on the car.

Is that a marauder!?!?! Judging by the lower right corner of the pic... It is DTR

Master

Yeah, its a Panther, but more to the point I'd say Marauder unless someone swapped engines at the same time. Also, I don't recall DTR being a grand marquis colour.
So, what doe the stenciling on the front shroud say? MPE LW... ???
Does this help us identify it?

I just lost my appetite for a twin turbo set-up. What a nightmare, while I'm here does anyone here know if our exhaust manifolds will mount on the opposite head? (open end facing forward)

Good guess! I would really like to see the exhaust routing, not a lot of room there, especially on the DS and steering shaft.

Very nice setup, probably avoids the problem of passing tubing under the crossmember. What a tight fit!

I have only had experience with turbos and foxbodies Mustangs... and they can be installed in a few hours. It isn't that bad.

TTs on a Marauder... someone sure knows how to measure and weld. LOL

If that's a photoshop, I want the originator to put me in bed with Kendra Wilkinson. That's a real deal photo. If you don't believe me, open it with Notepad and look for the word Adobe, it's not there.

Where have you been hiding for the past 5 months, Tom? Thought you disappeared on us.

Hello Charlie!

I was "MIA" for a while.
1st, my PC had a very bad malware, it hijacked me to a certain website all of the time. That set me back a few months, from about July to Sept. Finally just bought another hard drive to get up again.
2nd, work situation has changed for me, no internet access for the past 9 months! 3rd, money situation changed so it is very hard to look at such nice altered cars and not think of things to do to my own. My home roof is in bad shape, and needed to save green for the materials.

Now I'm back to envy setups such as the one in this topic!

So what did I miss in the past six months? Please email me to avoid further thread drift.

He has a Marauder and comes on here every so often but I don't think he has ever joined, the same for the guy who owns the Twin Turbo'd one.
