View Full Version : Getting ready for Kentucky
Yesterday I cleaned out the PCV, was going to clean the throttle body today but I remembered it's cold and I really don't feel like it. This morning I ordered 2 new front tires from tire rackage. Kumho Ecsta ASX's, 131.00 each, should be on my front porch tomorrow afternoon. For sharts and griggles I searched for our stock back tires. Not only do they not have the crapmazing original size in BFG's, they don't have 245/55/18's from any maker. Fine by me, if the new fronts are as good as the backs have been for about a month now, super. Saturday I will have my homie that works at a Ford dealer take my ride in and get a few service related items done, like putting the new front tires on, alignment, transmission flush and fill, oil flush and fill, coolant flush and fill, and whatever else. Coilpacks. Maybe the belt. A couple missing rubber snubbers, one from the trunk that I remember. I hardly ever open the trunk so I hardly ever think about it. Oh and that Maryland Farmer Melon Feeling Meezy Feezy (picking up on the MF'er part yet?) vent controller that I had replaced about this time last year, mather facking cheap piece of defective horseshit. The good thing about having him drive it in: It will be fixed that day, or he doesn't have a way home, lol. Anyone else getting ready for the trip already, maintenance wise?

I'm trying to scrounge time and money to
1.have the hood redone......... again..... and car detailed
2. install iat2 upgrade/3.2 pulley and dyno
3. j-mod
4. hell i can't remember, more than likey i will have 0 out of three of these accomplished. Mostly because of the cold temps and good old procrastination.
But it is the thought that counts right?

Right on, I probably won't even vaccuum out my car much less detail it, I just want to make it safely to Kentucky and back. If I hit a deer or worse, or blow the engine, I'll stop by a Dodge dealer and buy a Challenger to drive home. Blue, of course:cool:

The Merc's already well-detailed from last weekend's car show.
My main goal is a tune and possibly installing SRP's door sills and pedals before the big meet.
