I have been a member here since Logan started this site, I sold Logan the first chip engineered by the only person in the country that could do it, I have had many companies make and manufacture custom parts for this unique car, when Logan decided to sell this site, a small group of us wanted to keep this site as it was, a family filled with warm past memories and camaraderie, Logan, Mary and Bob, Dan, and Jim, Mike Poore and Mike Henchman, and my self.
Yes I have always been a paying vendor here, and there were complaints and accusations that this site was biased to wards my protection, so I resigned but this action was never an issue. I did it for the good of the club; Logan had the policy if you had a problem then pick the phone up and call the vendor. I have paid since day one for this, no free ride, I received a pay pal bill every month and paid it, as with any company you have satisfied customers and then you have ones that you did not make happy, over all if you compare the numbers I honestly feel I have done as well as I could have. I personally endorsed and recommended the product vendor review to the current owners.
I heard this the other night I feel it is poignant and has a place here.
We have only so much energy in life to push us through our day, it is easy to start a argument, I will tell all of you this, I can be easily offended, as some of you have been on the phone, issues get spun out of control, here is a good thought for all of us.
In our life time we will meet 25% who will not like us, and then will meet 25% that may like us but can be persuaded not to like us, and then will meet 25% that do not like us but may be persuaded by actions to like us, and finely we will meet 25% that will stand by us no matter what. There are many that are to easily offended, and issues get pushed out of proportion, I can admit I have made mistakes go look at the vendor reviews, and I have tried to respond the best I can, is this enough. Most of the time it is, but there will always be those you can never win a argument with, so you should just walk away, because no matter what I or you say it will be twisted, no matter what I say will, it EVER change there opinion of me. No it won’t.
So why argue it drains you and takes your energy away to devote prime time to your other customers, but as a vendor you have to respond.
I have learned, I have Bent over back words to make the customers I did not meet there expatiations with free shipping and refunds, right now our Country is in the worst economic slow down that any of us has seen in our life time.
So effective March 1, I will no longer be a paying vendor here, I will stay a member, but my forum will be closed, those that have supported me please do not feel I have given in, I have not.
I want to thank the thousands of customers I have made happy, the hundreds and hundreds of friends we have met at all the events , I will still have my web site, I will still sell and improve products for this car, and will always answer the phone, and give free advice, as I have for so many years, I want to thank all of you, that have in the past and continue to support me and Sheila, with your thoughts and prayers and guidance, I wish all of you the best. I am in the process of setting up a forum on my website to post members cars, and technical articles, please contact me below
