Well, looks like we are getting some snow in the CAM area. Hmm, I am wondering if now is a good time to test out my KUHMOs (5-8 inches).

Which Kumhos? Had a very bad experience with the ECSTA Supra's in snow a few years ago. Needless to say, the snow tires went on the very next day.

Ecsta Supra's are summer only tires lol.

Yea, I know... got caught at work with them on, wasn't supposed to snow where the news comes from. I'll take the snow flurries about now, been getting pounded here since 23 Oct 2008.

Just checked the storm out on radar and unless something pushes it out to sea it is headed straight up here. Freakin great...

Yeah I know what you mean, I had them on my 2001 Ford Focus, 201whp 193tq with 235/35-17 series Supra tires. I was fine as long as I was moving then some dam idiots would stop on the slightest little hills and all I would do is spin, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th lol. Sucked in the winter but wow they would grip in the hot summer on the road.

No problems in the snow this morning, not once did my traction control light come on. The only issue was the knucklehead beside with the 4 wheel drive Tundra who almost lost control and sideswiped me, I give KUHMOs, two thumbs up (Or maybe the driver who put them on)!

Lots of 4WD and AWD in the ditches of Northern Virginia today. That's why I hate getting on the roads. Freakin' idiots.

Looks like the snow should be all outta here within the next 30 minutes. Then the shoveling begins.... or not. Whatever ..... ;)
