Hey does anyone know the difference between the lightning 5.4, the Navigator 5.4, and the GT500 Motor? Is it just the heads or is the motor alone different internal wise? :help:

I thought I heard that the GT500 may have forged rods?
-I could be wrong.

The GT 500 is indeed forged everything.
The Navigator has a forged crank only.
The 2V Lightning has Forged everything as well (I think)

Just the crank is forged(thanks ford), the pistons are ok(claim to be forged, not sure what the are)& the rods have No. 2 pencil strength:D. Rods are the first to go (thru the block) on the L's.
