Well I've been TDY for a few months and just got back so guess I've recovered enough to share my pain with everyone. To make a long story short an idiotic mechanic wrecked my baby:bigcry:. She was overheating so I took her to the guy to fix it, why he decided to test drive her to see if it was still overheating????? I will never know, but I've moved on...not really I haven't but here it is, shield your eyes if you're sensitive lol.
O and sorry about the fuzziness on some of the pics, it was probably from me shaking I was so mad at the time.
P.S.

dirtybird82,
Pls share your plans and tell us how we can help you if your car is in Germany. If your car is in the States, where is it? Do you need us to help you find new/donor parts? Pls know youu have friends here if you care to share and get any needed assistance.

I'm sure glad I'm a member. I'll definitely keep you in mind for parts. I'm sure Ray Sr. "TheDealer" and others could play a major role in parts for ya.

Dude...I know you're still mad and stuff...but that really makes the story a great read. Please tell us the whole episode, inquiring minds NEED to know how this went down and how you restrained(or didn't) yourself, as well as what are your next steps and courses of action.
What dealership and where?
When?
How did they explain it?
What is their solution?
Who's on docket to fix it?
and more!

To answer everyone, I almost did kill him when i first saw the damage, no lie, that's why I had a friend drive me to see the damage. My insurance is in the process of suing the :censor: out of him and his whole little operation. Due to the damage and whatnot and since the air bag did deploy they totaled the car, which I was "upset" about. According to most estimates I received over here in Germany the cost to fix it was averaging around 17,000...
So in short I have one word of advise if you're in the military, don't take your baby overseas because idiot mechanics will wreck your :censor:.
O and AAFES sucks, you didn't here that from me though.
p.s.
First he rear ended another car and ended up in a ditch and pretty much destroyed the axle. Any other questions I'll answer, but yea I am looking again for a replacement :(.

Best of luck to you, anyway you can buy-it back from the insurance and send it back home to the states? When you get home hopefully you could repair it. Either way so sorry to hear of your loss.

What kind of operation are we talking about here?
A dealer?
Fix-'em-up shop?

I don' know just yet. Had to send in a check back to my bank in the states since I was still paying on the car. Once I hear back from them I can go from there.

If you can purchase the car back Im sure I know some people at Spang that might take some parts off your hands. Let me know what you will be able to do with it and we can go from there.

I couldn't imagine buying it back AND shipping her home, doesn't sound cheap. But then again i've owned my baby five years now and cost wouldn't matter to me.
