You have metco's? I haven't noticed any sponginess in the front suspension (maybe tiny tiny bit) untill i installed my new metco's tonight. The rear end is so firm and sure of itself that now the front is lacking some. I cut my coils a year ago and have been quite happy with the ride, so i was wondering, should i simply do a front shock swap (konico?) or has anyone with this setup not been happy with just that and went with the eibachs?

Eibachs history of being too firm worries me a little, i like a smooth ride not getting jarred around.

So .

1. Try shocks only with what brand?
2. Just do shocks and Eibachs?

I think i see why some are against cutting while others like me (untill now) prefer it. It deponds on what else is in your particular set up. I'd like to keep cost at a bare minimum.

I have not upgraded to the metco's as of yet but I did cut my springs and used the Monroe Severe Service shocks and Im quite pleased. I know Fourth Horseman has metcos and eibach's maybe he can help ya out.

I still haven't bothered doing anything about it. I've gotten quite used to the set up now.

I can relate.

If I run to NY as often as I do, I think the Eibachs might be the way to go and be done with it. I do not like the spongyness floaty boat feeling I get over some roads at speed.

Good point. With a solid firm rear, that would give the soft front an axis point. :hmmm:

They are having another group buy from ADPT.net I believe, its a great price. and they really tightened up the rear of the car, and I installed em on my sport in about 30 min.
