So, FordNut tells me Trilogy kits came with a tool to r/r the clutch pulley from the stock alternator.
I heave a beauty of a high performance alternator courtesy of Peace2Peep, but I'd like to put the stock clutch pulley on it.
Can I borrow one? Maybe someone going to the SSM meet at the end of March or someone willing to ship? Of course, I'll cover costs for shipping.
Thanx
Rich

Rich, I am told by 2 Ford Master Techs that the only reason the clutched pulley is stock is to eliminate a tiny belt squeek at initial WOT. They both recommended just putting on the pulley and bolt. I have part numbers should anyone want them. I can also obtain the "tool" if you need it. Dennis

I ordered an 8 rib alternator pulley from Ford ('01 F150 I believe) and it came with a nut. Maybe a new 6 rib pulley from Ford would come with the nut, too.

I tend to agree for a stock motor, but with the belt strain from supercharger de-spool PLUS belt strain from alternator de-spool I think I'll just be replacing belts too often.
My consideration is belt longevity and stretch.
I definitely want to use the clutched pulley.

It might be nice to put a brandy now pulley on my brandy new alternator. How much would you like for it, Zack?
