Hello guys ,new here,I have a 2007 grand marquis,and I am ready to install a aftermarket wheels,I was wondering how wide can I go on the back and what offset wheels I need.
I know is not a marauder but help if you can.

I bought some Mustang wheels, 18x8.5. They have the same approximate offset as the MM. You need wheels from a 2005 or newer Mustang if you go that route. The offset is different on earlier models. Rick

BTW ... The rim width will limit ( somewhat ) how low you could go.

well I was planning to get 18x9 for the back and 18x8 for front
and put some 275/40-18 what is 26.66 inch high(back),and and 245/45-18=26.68 (front).
will this work out?
and yes I have traction control.

what you saying is in order to getaway from problems with traction control I have to have the same diameter tires front and back right?
for example
275/40-18=26.66 inch (back)
245/50-17=26.65 inch(front)
this would work right?
now what offset rims I need to get in order to get the 275 to fit right on back?

Since the front<>rear diameter bias is small, there shouldn't (?) be a traction control issue.

Regarding offset / backspacing ... The Marauder's rim spec's should suffice. *.below.

There's enough clearance in the rear to accomodate the extra 1" you're planning.
