This thread is what I thing about Ford Factory Car covers as it concerns the Marauder. It's a great indoor cover, but it will not be black very long if garaged outside. Under the sun it turns into a light brown after a couple of months.

Mine is from the Californa Car Cover (http://www.californiacarcover.com/car_cover_find4.asp?car_make=M ercury&car_model=Marauder&year_id=2003&source=&partner=&car_material=Noah+-+Gray&car_price=219.99&notes1=4+door&notes2=2+side+mirror&notes3=coupe&notes4=&find.x=38&find.y=5) for $220. I got the "Noah® - Gray". I also got a black duffel bag $20 and a cable lock $10. Works great! The fit is perfect.

Yes, but it's not meant to be used as storage unit

I agree with Steve and RC. I use mine for an indoor dust cover and it does a nice job of keeping my boy dust free. Be careful using these covers outside. Someone posted that the wind whipping against the cover beat the paint right off of their car.

I have used car covers outdoors for several years. It is not the cover that will scratch the car (if its a good cover), but the dirt that gets between the cover and the paint. Do Not (ESPECIALLY with black) leave the cover on for long periods outside without lifting the cover and making sure the car is very clean. Wash the car whenever it gets dirty and do not put the cover on a dirty car. I usually get the "stormweave" type material and wash the cover when it gets dirty. That 3M waterproofing spray stuff works well, needs to be reapplied every 6 mos or so. Don't get lazy!!

The NOAH is a great car cover and does an excellent job. Before I cover my car, I dust it with the California Car Duster just to make sure that all the dust is off. If you have to cover your car for extended periods, it's a good idea to take it off, shake it out, dust the car and put the cover back on...

The recommendation of using a California Car Duster is a great idea. I also have discontinued using tire dress up solutions to shine my tires. This oily substance collects dust and dirt and deposits it on your car cover.
