2003-04 4.6 dohc engine for sale

This engine was removed from a 46K 03 or 04 Marauder. I have the computer and all the accessories to go with it. I am in the KC area, but will ship if necessary. email me or post here with questions. 1700 obo.
Wife is literally due to have a baby any day this week and so she thinks I should sell this engine. It was destined for my '64 1/2 Mustang convertible. :(

They are black. What is the difference between engines with painted and unpainted?

04 MMs have dual knock sensors.

So is it safe to say it is an 03 then? I thought the motors used the same Holander interchange number. Sorry for the confusion.

Truth be told - above the oilpan drain plug right where the pan meets the block - the last 8 of the VIN is stamped there in the aluminum.

Any 2003 and 2004 MM without the moonroof option has this in their VIN.

Yeah, admittedly, you got me on that one! But since I am a Ford guy, I decided to enter the 21st century and build a street rod with a cammer. Perhaps thirtytwofollowers would be more appropriate? Anyway, I still hope to build a car with a mod motor in it some day.
