Aluminum Metal Matrix driveshafts are indeed available, just not from Dynotech. They cost more, but you can get it in both 3.5" and 4". They don't have an off-the-shelf replacement, and you have to change yokes to use a 1350 u-joint. It's the Accu-bond from Mark Williams.

For a car that is daily driven and raced on the weekend sometimes which one would be better, 3.5" or 4"?

I would say unless you have extreme horsepower a 3.5" would be suitable.

Brian - Because your driveshaft is shorter they should have charged you less.
