I took Reba to Uptown Altamonte (Altamonte Springs, Florida) today, and since she had just been cleaned up, I took a few shots. I hope you like.

I cannot wait to get mine out from under her cover! Everytime I see your pics I seriously ponder relocating!

P.S. The picture of Reba on the Long Mountain parkway, parked in the overlook area, is the background on my desktop

Those really are outstanding - I cannot believe how vivid the colors are. It seems the ambience was spot-on.

Thanks guys!

I haven't shot much lately, but we just got back from a wedding in Jacksonville yesterday, and Reba really got dirty from sitting out at night with the pollen and the dew.

I got her cleaned up today, and my wife wanted to go to this area this afternoon to walk around, so I brought my camera. I was lucky to catch some late afternoon light, and I liked the shots.

Thanks for looking.

Nice pictures, and nice car!

Nice pictures, and nice car! Thanks, but that does happen with the lens that I used for these shots. It has a very narrow depth of field and will blur out anything in front of, and behind what I focus on, which is obviously my MM.

Thanks for the kind words.

You either take awesome pictures or you have the best DTR out there! Hmmm... or maybe it's a combination of both!

You either take awesome pictures or you have the best DTR out there! Hmmm... or maybe it's a combination of both!Either way, I'll take that as a compliment. I actually have too much money invested in camera equipment, and am still trying to learn how to use it. My DTR is probably not the best, but I'm just getting better at making her look good. :)

LOL... If you ever make it out to Chicago there's a lot architectural structures you'll love out here. I'll even throw in MERIDEATH to pose for you, free of charge. Merideath and Reba can meet up for brunch and have a nice chat during an oil change!

If I make it up that way, I'll take you up on the offer, and make Merideath look like a diecast model too.

Nice shots John! My car is sitting at the airport, probably covered in two inches of ice, snow, snert, and jet fuel. And we do not have palm trees up here

Let me know too, after I get moved and have Jason remove all the darn swirls on mine and detail the Red Sled I hope it looks as pretty as yours and we can get some shots of them in some choice places. I've been working the last 15 years downtown in Chicago helping build the new stuff so I may know a few good places to shoot.
Hey Takedown,do you think we could get away with driving across the lawn to take some pics by the "Bean" in Millenium Park? Those would be some truly awesome shots with the cars in the foreground and showing up s reflections on the Bean.
Here's "The Bean" though they call it Cloud Gate. http://images.google.com/images?q=cloud+gate&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&

BTW-what do you use on your tires?I hate to say this, but I took Reba to Shiners. They really did a number on the tires this time. I guess that equates to a good pedicure. :D

Thanks for your comments.
