View Full Version : Took The MM out For a Short Drive Today.

Well,

I wanted to surprise the girlfriend with something different today so I decided we would travel a little south east to Ohiopyle.

For those who don't know Ohiopyle is an AWESOME place. It is famous for a few things.
1:Rafting/Kayaking
2:Over the falls festival.
3:Camping
4: Natural waterslides.
5:Falling water

It is a great place to take the family for the weekend.

We intially started our trek to see 'Falling Water"

But they were closed for the day.:(

So then we headed over to the Ohiopyle Falls. They host a really cool competition here every year called the 'Over The Falls' were Kayakers try tricks and what not over the falls. Its a good party.:beer:

Then we went to the natural water slides. Which is a barrel of water that runs through a very smooth section of rock and gives you an awesome ride. Naturally enough it was a little cold to be riding any slides. :D

Then we went to Cucumber Falls. Which is a 30' water fall. Pretty cool. And the rapids out front are a great place to watch the guys come down through.

It was a fun day.

I frequent the rapids.
I've done them in a kayak and raft.

EVERYONE gets tossed here on their first un-guided tour.

Boy you are good to pick that out .... something is missing/different on that front-right wheel.

Very nice pics -- but it still looks a little chilly to be hanging around water, falls and rapids. Looks like a good trip. :up:
