hey everyone new to the forums here. i drive an 03 svt focus but starting to want to trade it in on a marauder. i just have a few questions about the car and about things i have seen on this and other pages.

what are the first mods people generally do to this car, intake/exhaust?
does anyone make exhaust systems or headers that arent $1000 longtubes?
ive seen people using cobra manifolds i assume this means terminator manifolds. do these fit perfect in the engine bay?
what could i expect from a marauder with bolt ons?
this car would b a daily driver, hows reliability?
is it possible to peice together the m112 kit from the lightning/terminator
to supercharge the car for cheep?

I'll say it first...

do a quick search. there was just a thread within the past couple days answering alll of your questions. It's "basic bolt on's" or something to that effect.

Good luck on getting a Marauder!

Welcome. FWIW, keep the Focus if possible. I miss mine sometimes. 1st modds are CAI, tune (#1), and 4.10 gears. All exhaust work is custom, nothing bolts right up except the $1,000+ headers you mentioned. It is far cheaper to buy a SC made for the MM than to try and make another unit fit.

ok cool, kinda sounds like the svt get the tune first. in regards to the sc, im wondering about piecing it together because im not trying to spend $5000 plus on a factory supercharger yeah know? ive seen the m112 used for less than $500 and wondered if i could just buy the rest of the parts that go with it seperate. isnt it just the same factory top end from the lightning/cobra? is this even interchangeable with the mm?

If you search you will find it. But a couple of members have done this swap, and lots of custom work is needed to make it work.

Welcome, and maybe look into buying one thats already supercharged? Theres one for sale on here a couple days ago.

There are Vortech and Procharger also. The Trilogy is closest to stock looking. As said above you would need to piece meal the system you are talking about. The factory SC will not just bolt up to a MM. You need to also be aware that the MM engine is a higher compression engine than factory blown engines. 10.1-1 instead of 8.5-1, IIRC.

o i see i really need to trade my car as i could only afford one. and i have looked into the powerworks, it would be awesome, but the kit is also $5000+. thats a little less than what i still owe on the car.
