I thought this shot of Reba looked better after cropping, so here's a color version for the DTR lovers.

And a black and white version for those who think that DTR is slower and downright ugly.

Please, I don't mean to be a wet blanket, your car is beautiful, the building in the background is awesome, it's just that................ugly chain link fence.

As they say, location, location, location.

I don't think my DTR was ever that clean. After 5 Buffalo winters, she'll never be the car she once was....

Mine looks like a faded shade of _ _ _ _ !

Regards,You are correct. The fence did pretty much ruin everything else in the background. The area is under some construction, and parking was limited. I picked this spot more for the lighting, and because it had fewer trees. I'll just have to try and do better next time.

+1, I just showed it to a girl at work who agreed. Crazy!

I disagree, John, you are too humble about your pictures. They always come out great.

What I like best about this picture is the whole "diamond in the rough" thing. Taking a nice thing, putting it near a crappy thing, and making it an awesome juxtaposition.

Case in point, look at AKA_Rizzo's car in Detroit (http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/2293/photo0076vcp.jpg) that he posted on CVN. Probably a million things wrong to the "professional" photographer but to the average joe, it is a great looking picture. Sharp car in a less-than-nice environment.

Hell, I took this picture of my Marquis (http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w110/jackiegleason/cleveland%20shots/uhcare.jpg) with a crappy point-n-shoot, and people responded well to it.

Oldekid, your Maruader is so shiny, it almost seems like a plastic model.Aren, it's the camera and lens combo that gives it that effect.

Thanks,
John
