high pitch whistling noise

Recently I took my whole intake system and throttle body off and cleaned it and when I was torquing the four bolts that hold the tb to the upper intake i broke 2 of the bolts off and everything seemed fine at first. The next day I started it up I was hearing a high pitched whistling noise. Wondering if anybody thinks the broken bolts are the reason for the noise.

probably so they are 2 of the bolts for the tb you say? If so it is not seated right and now sucking air. Suprised if it is running right it being after the maf?

Maybe its not the throttle body than, the bolts I'm referring too are the ones located right behind the iac theirs four bolts that connects it to the upper intake

You need to fix the bolts!
The whistle you hear is a vacuum leak.

If the sound started coming around after you touched the intake and TB then more than likely it has something to do with it.

You need to fix those bolts and remember you don't have to wrench down stuff till it breaks lol. Wrench till snug then another 1/4 - 1/2 turn until real snug.

I only here the noise when the gas isnt being accelerated so I can be driving and take my foot off the gas pedal and it will start again and of course in park or neutral.

Throttle closed is the highest vacuum you will see - the leak will be the greatest - fix the bolts before you break something!

Yeah someone did that to me a long time ago, I just haven't had the heart to take it off.

Got asked yesterday after I started the car up at a gas station if I had a Vortech lol.
