Your question is much too golbal, and "this year" is time sensitive too. Give us a better idea of what you want to know, give us a "focused" question? Specify what you want to know, describe or, define as best you can.

I have numbers that sound like "02 sales to end of model year," and "03 sales year to date." Both are different databases, tell me what you just bought, it's production date (taken from your door sticker) and I'll tell you what I can about sales numbers, K?

No color numbers, or questions, that's not an LM database index. Write to me at SergntMac@aol.com if you need to know more.

I too have just purchased an 03 Marauder and am also new to this site. I came here looking to find out production numbers. Even though the car was only made for 2 years, I thought production numbers would be easy but it appears that there are variances between these cars. Why do you folks refere to them like Chrysler letter cars, ie,..300A, 300B...etc.? Is there a website that shows the break down of the different cars? Is it according to build date? I've seen photos of a Marauders interior with a dash clock, mine does not have that. Anyway, I'll throw my info out here and if anyone would like to decipher it for me it would be greatly appreciated.

Black 2003 Marauder with a born on date of Feb. 03
VIN# 2MEHM75V23X675518
Charcoal interior
Heated seats, CD changer in trunk, adjustable pedals, traction control.
Does not have spoiler

Thanks
Joe

2004 - 3213 (980 DTR, 997 Silver, 1236 Black)

Joe these are the numbers. '03's share vin # with Grand Marquis. '04 do not.

Joe, welcome to the collective.

From your description, you have a 300B.

The first ones off the line in '02 were called 300As...they have an in-dash clock, electric fuel-filler door release, automatic parking brake release, metal grilles on the rear speakers, and a full-size spare. Later in the production run, Ford de-contented all of that, but added traction control and heated seats. Those later models are called 300Bs. All '04s are the equivalent of a 300B.

The spoiler was a dealer-installed option in both years.

I have seen a dishearteningly large number of crash pictures on the internet, and a few wrecked remains in tow yards.I guess its good for us with the survivors, but sad nonetheless.

300A's and B's, is one more desirable amongst Marauder fans? Of the 7839 '03s made, is there a break down of how many A's and B's were built?

Nope ... and we don't know how many "tweeners" (pre-decontented) there were either. :o
