Hey guys,
First off,
Anyone who was effected by the hurricanes I'm sorry.
This was one of the most emotional things I have seen.
The shear destruction.
It was my plesure and some of the nicest people I have ever met.

I don't know how many of you guys know but I got to go to the Gulf states to help evacuate for hurricanes Gustav and Ike.

I was only supposed to be there for five days. Well five turned to ten and then Ike came about. So we rounded out our tour at twenty five days.
I started off my tour in Alexendria, LA. Came to be known as Camp Alex.
From there I went to New Orleans.
I supplemented City of New Orleans EMS for three days and rode out the storm with them.
From NO to Lafayette, LA.
Layfayette back to Camp Alex for a day.
Alex to Baton Rouge.
Baton Rouge to Alex just in enough time to get deployed to Houston.
Houston to Galveston and then to Baytown TX.

Well,
They said make it in 24 hours or you won't get paid.
So it only took us 18 hours to New Orleans.
Running 98 mph with the bus on the speed limiter.:D
