Well i bought a new craftsman DIY powdercoat kit from a guy on craigslist for $60.00 last week and today i powdercoated my calipers and caliper brackets red. They came out pretty good, i had to wait till the wife left the house to use the oven for the bake process. I burned some yard brush and opened the windows to cover the smell and throw her off my track. I'll post pics as soon as i bleed the system down. ;)
LMMFAO!! What the heck are you in real life, a spy?!

Did you get powder on her precious potholders? Oh that would be priceless - brake fluid all over them.

You disassembled them completely before the bake? I wanted to do this, but didn't want to take the calipers apart.

Yeah, they were disassembled, pistons got removed then to the parts cleaner, an acetone wash, and just incase superfine steel wool, then the powder and to the oven until golden brown :banana2:
