Is anyone who is attending a "local" to that area? Long story short, my 15 year old daughter hated Florida (and her Mom) and lives with me now. I asked if she would want to make this road trip with me on what will be her 16th birthday (Sat. the 28th) and she is thrilled about it and so am I!!
I changed my hotel room to accomodate. Is there a place nearby like a Food Lion that can make a cake? And if so, can someone take my info and have one made? I WILL compensate if you can do this, shoot me a pm, thanks everyone, we can't wait!!

There is a Kroger right by my place that can make a B-Day cake for your daughter.

Would that work for you?

PM me your number and I'll give you a ring..

Mike.

My sister ordered a surprise birthday cake for me last year. One whole sheet cake for $35 from the Walmart just about across the highway from the the hotel. Don't have to pay in advance. PM me for details.

I think we got a handle on this cake situation. I am blown away that my daughter not only wants to come with but is excited. I love my kids, if she didn't want to go, I'd have bowed out and gave away the room. This just means I won't party as much as I planned but that's okay. Knine and Takedown I'll get with you guys for cake when I'm up thataway again.

She's a great kid, all 3 of my girls are. She's taking German in school and can't wait for dinner at German restaurant.

Everyone starts with three dollars. The three dice have either L (left), R (right), C (center) or a dot on various sides of the dice. You roll a die for each of the first three dollars you have. If you get an L, you pass the dollar to the player on the left: if you roll an R, you pass the dollar to the player on the right: if you roll a C, the dollar goes into the pot in the middle (this is the pot you want to win!); and if you roll a dot, you keep your dollar. The last person with a dollar must roll a dot to win the whole pot. If they roll an L or an R, the dollar is passed to the new "last person standing" and it goes on and on until a dot is rolled (they win the pot) or a C is rolled and the pot rolls over to the next game.....follow....??.... We've had double pots before, with the winner going home with a nice chunk of change. We usually have 20+ people playing - that's a $60+ pot.
