I called a Chevy Dealer today to see if they could get the 245/55R18 tires since the 2010 Camaro LT should be in the showrooms this week. I was told they could have them in 1 or 2 weeks and the cost for the tire alone would be $222.00 each.

This would be the second person I’ve heard from that said the tires should be out in April. It does make a lot of sense that the tire is coming out in April NOT June. Don't think to many buyers of the new LT Camaro (in showrooms this week) would be willing to wait until June for tires should they get a flat that can’t be fixed. Am also sure Chevrolet doesn’t want to hear :argue: from dissatisfy customers who are unable to find a replacement tire for their BRAND NEW Camaro LT should they ruin a tire or tires!

Just got this from tire rack

The Camaro uses a BF Goodrich Radial TA not the G Force KDWS. The word from BF Goodrich is they are going to begin production in the second quarter of 2009. We have had them on order since June of last year and they just have not produced any tires. Those are the dated that the tire mfg. has given us.
Sorry,

Hate to keep bugging Jim so does anyone here know why we couldn't use the Radial TA?
