So Cali is gung-ho about the change, but was a study ever done across vehicle product lines to inquire about fuel consumption as a function of paint color?

But I don't see a study having been done yet. Also, how much fuel is saved by dark vehicles in cooler months by absorbing energy and running the heater less? I'll repaint my car right after every homeowner with black roof shingles changes them to a "less heat absorbant" color. Does the phrase "cart in front of the horse" apply here?

Well alot of people don't know this but Black cars are proven to be faster than Red, Silver and Blue. They do get slightly worse gas milage but the coolness factor more than makes up for it. :D

The only good thing about Cali is the women on the beaches. I went out there last summer and spent 3 weeks in San Diego. Holy Jeezus... There aint no women like that in the middle of Illinois..:(

It's really too bad that California is such a beautiful state, but it's made so ugly by all the nuts that live there. I love going there to visit, but I don't think I could live there.
