If I'm running non-stock tires in the rear, could those have an effect on the traction control light coming on during highway driving and on-ramp/off-ramps?

What size tires are you running on the rears?

Do you still have the OEMs on the front?

Yes. The size difference from front to rear has to be within a certain percentage. For instance 255/55/18 size on rear with stock on front are still within tolerance and will cause no issues. They are slightly taller than stock rear size.

Verified. I took a 150 mile trip on Saturday with my new Nitto's 255/55-18 tires. Had no issues and I left the T/C on. I do have OEM fronts.

Oh yeah....I had 255/55/18 BFG KDW2s on the 2003 and no issues until I wore them out. Recently had a nail in the sidewall on the wife's 2004, stockers we not available, had the dealer put 255/55/18 Dunlops on rear of hers. No issues, including a long highway trip last week. Still great.

Apparently, 255/50/18 will cause problems (http://mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=51495).
