I need new tires and i was wondering if anyone suggests getting different tires than the oem bfg's. I noticed that the bfg's wear out fast in the back and honestly wouldn't mind getting something a little bit cheaper.

For the rears, search for 255/55/18 size. They work fine without screwing up traction control or antilock braking and give you more tire options.
Look for small truck/SUV tires in addition to performance tires. Tire compound is a little harder and will wear longer. Downside is they would be a little less grippy.
Me? I end up buying what is available and cheapest at the time I need tires. Nearly all of our driving is city so we don't get a lot of mileage out of tires on the MMs.

I'm cogitating on the Nitto 555 in the new 265/50/18 for rear with the 555 in 245/45/18 up front next time around. Very close to OEM sizes by a tire size calculator. I won't need them right away though. Maybe next year depending on how many miles I drive this season.

Yep :D , with the 4.10s being installed next month the rears probably will need to be replaced sooner. :burn:
