Well here is what we have been working on, on the A model they have a digital clock in the dash, so what we have done is incorporate, a digital information center in the place of the clock this mufti function Display can give Fuel pressure, Oil Pressure transmission temperature, Boost, Battery Voltage, Air Fuel Ratio, Air Charge Temperature, Water temperature, we will price this less than 600.00 and it will be ready for sale with in 30 days. This will also work on the B model.

Dennis,

If you have a B with no clock do you sell the whole new trim piece or would one have to order one from the dealer and insert your display?

Not to get too far ahead but,.... how about a Heads Up Display on the windshield? Ya know like aa F-15 or something, just a thought.

How hard to hook up your MFD? Could it be as easy as a plug to the PCM?

If it dosen't have a clock, there is a way to turn on the clock display on the alpine stereo. I think it involves unplugging a wire from the multi pin connector at the back of the radio.

This is very slick There was a guy who said he was developing something like that over a year ago, posted about it in the tech forums of the old CVO. I think his name was Winston or something like it.

will this have a button to select which information to view? or just scroll through them all all the time? I was going to switch out my fake O/P guage with an operating one, maybe I will wait :)

This is probably an issue for Dennis to take up, but the oil pressure gage is not integrated into the balance of the car's PCM or the electronic system. So you may want to consider replacing the "fake" oil pressure gage with a working oil pressure gage anyway. Just a thought....

Very Nice! I'd like the clock display and a larger remote display.

Can it be programmed to automatically alert the driver to unsafe readings, like overtemp?

Yes, the clock display function on our cars can be turned on via a wire change into the radio.

I got a brief demonstration over this past weekend, and I believe oil pressure is monitored. Some of this display will tap into the PCM, some of it will require adding independent sensors, at least that the way I remember Dennis explaining it.

That makes sense to me.

Pin 6 on the Alpine harness connects directly to the clock. Now, in order to activate the in-radio clock, I'm not sure if you have to ground the wire or tie it to 12V or simply make sure it's not connected to the in-dash clock.

Can an air preassure mangement display for the tires be added to the system?

I am sure it can, but your wallet may not like it.
