Drewstang and I got together a couple weeks ago, and took a bunch of pics of the cars close to sunset.

I decided to use a tripod this time and had a great time shooting the cars.

A few of the pics I ran thru PhotoShop using a creative layer (Monochrome), then brushed the color back onto the car(s).

A really clean way to have a B/W background and the car in color.

Bringing the contrast up slightly also makes the subject stand out and 'pop'.

Both cars look fantastic! The reflection of the tree on the front door on the first pic is very cool. Could have been a contender in the reflections photo contest.....

I found some that look like it, but they are $700+. Trilogy is more important.

Whelen inner-edge, pricey but worth the $$$, so's the Trilogy.

Trying not to get off topic.
But the Whelen inner-edge is the best on the market. Extremely bright. ;)

Mike, the pics look great. Thanks again.

Silverbirch, that is the Axixtech Stealthvisor that I use for response to the firehouse. I am a volunteer with our local department. I went with the Steathvisor over the Whelen Inner Edge for a few reasons.

First, the Inner Edge requires holes to be drilled and screws installed in the A pillars to support it. The SV is held in place by brackets that slide under the sun visor mounts and look cleaner than the IE.

Second, price. $700+ for the IE, $450 for the SV with take downs.

Last, I respond on backroads mainly with little traffic. If I had to cross the major highway that runs down the middle of our district, then I would have gone with the brightest bar out there. For my response area, this bar is bright enough to clear traffic for the 1.5 miles I have to drive.

Sorry for the offtopic post. :D
