My wife and I took her 07 GT convertible and my Marauder to a local Mustang club charity show Saturday. They had a show back in October and Diane won a trophy with her Mustang, so we decided to take both cars. As it turned out, the number of entrants this time was about double of October's show, with more than 180 cars entered.

After we park, I pop the hood on my car and walk off with my daughters to find the free hamburgers. That was the extent of my car show prep. Diane stayed behind to clean on her car. She even sucked up to the judge when he came by.

Unfortunately for me, I won a runner up trophy in my class, and my wife won nothing. I had to spend the rest of the weekend making reparations! It was a lot of fun, and now we both have trophies.

Congrats. As a frequent car show competitor, you'd be surprised how much attention the Marauders garner and how many awards they can bring home.

Keep it up.

A big congats! I only have one so far, a very small Koolest Kar Award, but it still means ALOT to me and is always on display in the living room.

As a matter of fact my award was my very first picture on this site, i even had to have Bunny help me post it.

Congrats on the trophy. I took mine to a show at the mall Sat. and only one guy knew what it was. I talked to him for thirty minutes. People would look at it and shake their head. They would say "I've heard of them but I've never seen one". I thought it was funny. I didn't win anything but I'll be ready for the next one.

I didn't stay near my car for most of the day, but my wife did. She said that she was amazed at how many people came by that actually knew what the car was.

She won some pretty cool door prizes including a 1/18 scale 2010 Mustang GT convertible and a coupon good for 2 dyno pulls at a local speed shop. I'm gonna see if they'll give us one pull on the Mustang and one on the Marauder.

It was amazing how many GT500s there were at the show. I think there were more of them than regular GTs.

I may have the fever now, and might actually spend some time cleaning the car before we go to the next one.

Warning. It's addictive.

When asked about my MM anywhere, I just point out that it has 150,000 , miles on her, that saves me any real time cleaning it to perfection. ???
