As a new '04 Marauder owner, I have asked alot of questions and received many helpful answers from all of you. :help: Thank You!

Here's another one, primarily for Florida residents...

I just bought the Marauder, completely unmolested (stock) from the factory.

Many great mods are available to me, but the BIGGEST questions are...

"Who should I get to do the work?"

"Who can I trust to do meticulous work?"

"Can I do the S/C, 4.10 rear, tranny, brakes & tune for about $8k or less?"

Preferably a shop with a great reputation, in or around the Central or East-Central area of Florida.

I am leaning toward's Dennis Rinehart, he seem's to be a great guy  (I have spoken with him on the phone) for the initial major work such as S/C, 4.10 rear, tranny, brakes & tune. The ONLY drawback is the 4-hour drive to Orange Park.

I have also read up a little on the ProCharger's. Can anyone recommend a shop if I decide not to go with DR? Boss 330 Racing is somewhat close to me -- in Vero Beach -- but will they do all the work? How is their reputation?

As always, thank you in advance for all the input I receive....:)

while i am all the way in connecticut, i have purchased several things from dennis, with no problems, and while i was visiting my father who is about 30 minutes away, i took a stop by his shop, looked very organised and there were several marauders there. and while he was very buisy, he had no problem taking a few minutes to show me around, now i didn't have him do any work on my car, i just wanted to put a face to the voice on the other end of the phone. how ever other people have reported that they were less than happpy, but i haven't had any problems.

Check with LaMotta Performance in Longwood. They are a local popular Mustang performance shop, and I have used them for a couple of things, including 4:10 gears.

The owner's wife used to own a Marauder. Not sure if she still does or not, but Jake (owner) is familiar with our cars.

Thanks, I just got off the phone with Jake, what an awesome guy! :bows:

Not only was he completely honest and realistic [about horsepower gains and engine tolerance], he spent about 20 minutes on the phone with me going over my possible options. Plus, he's only about a 45-minute drive for me! I look forward to working with him soon...

Kudos to LaMotta Performance!

Kudos to LaMotta Performance! :banana:Glad to hear that. I've always been very satisfied with their work. I have referred a couple other Marauder owners, and so far, no complaints.
