I was driving along, going the speed limit in no rush and feeling rather relaxed, just me and my fiance when I hear this loud noise in the background. I look in my rear view mirror and it is the face of this long haired bearded mean looking biker guy who must have been within inches of my bumper. No sooner did I look him right in the eye, does he give me the meanest screw you get out of my way face and starts reving his engine (I guess trying to scare me so I move to the other lane) and now my fiance is pissed :mad2:turns around and flips him off and I just stare back and he revs a little more, I get a big old smile on my face and just floor it for a second and the look on his face completely changed from intimidation to suprise, the Marauder was just about as loud as his Harley. He speeds up and passes me and is about half a cars length ahead and then puts his left hand down towards the ground and signals me to come up next to him, so I get next to him and then we both punch it (not racing mind you, just letting our rides yell at each other) engines roaring, scaring the hell out of everybody around us then he gets a little amused smirk on his face nods his head ever so slightly and we both turn and head off in different directions, my fiance looks at me sort of confused and I have a little smile on my face and she justs says, "you men are ridiculous".
All I have on my car so far (performance wise) is an intake, but if the sound of the car is enough to impress a biker it's good enough for me.

Great story! I can just picture the guys face. There are some amazing roads to enjoy out in your neck of the woods. Have always wanted to drive my Marauder on some of them. We visit my Mom every year in Shell Beach, but have never had enough time to make the trip by car. Plan to be there in June this year. I'll keep my eye out for you! (I'll be in Mom's Buick, not on a chopper :o ) :D

I love the CAI's! People always turn their heads when I get on it going up and down city streets... I like to pass people on the highway with their windows down letting my car roar by their window! I want to get some mufflers too! make her really roar!

Good story!

Did you guys see Anchorman:The Legend of Ron Burgundy, when he hits the biker in the face with the burrito?

if you guys are ever in the area you all need to drive north up highway 1, it's quite the amazing road, all along the coast, you can see elephant seals whales and you end up in the red woods, you also pass Hearst castle, me and the lady went drove up it on our way to spend a week in Big Sur in a cabin amoungst the red woods, nice ride, very winedy at points, not for those with weak stomachs in some places.
