Got it all apart... tapped them on the sides and they rotated a little and got pushed down further.
**** me.
Any advice on how to get them out? I don't have any course lag bolts here at the house and a jog to home depot might take about 4 hours.

Drill multiple holes in them until they weak enough to bend and remove.

I always use a cold chisel, and hammer, break through, and then pry out.

Umm, no - metal shavings in the block is a bad idea.
I used the needle nose vice grips.
Grab on and pull it out. Try twisting and pulling at the same time.

I drilled a hole and put a really large screwdriver in there and went crazy on it.
They came out. Thanks... now onto the install!

Be sure to vacume up the metal shavings really well. The water pump likes fluids, not solids......

Would that be wheel stud issues?

I wiped it out as good as I can. A few little micro shavings aren't going to hurt anything.
I'm changing the fluid and thermostat anyways while I am at it.

Run lots of fesh water through her then. Mine flipped when I went to remove them also. Grabbed with needle nose pliers and pulled straight up to minimize scratching the housing.
