What he needs folks is some stock take-offs if anyone kept them??

The dealership says they suspect his are clogged (doubtful) but if he can get some working take-offs and bolt them on he will have some answers without great "dealer expense"!!

Sorry to butt in Carl but I thought some clarification might help you effort!!

I going to have mine removed in about ten days. I don't know if that will help you or not. LMK.

I have all four stock ones sitting in my garage. Make me an offer.

There are also some off brand hi-flow cats that are nearly identical in design to the Magnaflows. I paid less than $50 each for two of them just a couple weeks ago. I forget the name but lots of guys around here are using them.

OEM parts are the best from my experience.

They just last and last... as they should.

There is a reason for a cheaper price, so you buy another one when it breaks in two years.

Strange, that's what happened to my OEM ones - they broke and I had to replace them...

I've got the front pair, but I think they are pretty worn out. I'm thinking the owner before me (if there was only one) ran 57,000 miles of the cheapest gas they could, once I got my second set removed and new mufflers put on the first set would backfire like mad if I ever dropped revs from around redline (first to second shift was ridiculous).

Only other thing is there is no real connecting piping to them, the shop cut them off right on the body of the converters.

I too have all four, except mine have only 3k documented miles on them.
There's no way I am letting them go for less than $75 each...no way.

I will part with mine for $50 a piece. They are in great shape too.
