Now there is a terrible leak out of the crossover tube (pass. side).

Any ideas on how to seal that up better?

I'm going to pull it off and bend those mounts a little and try to hold it in there tighter.

The Kit itself isn't leaking at all.

New o-rings and/or a little dab of silicone around the crossover tube. I assume it's leaking where it goes into the head.

+1 on the o-rings unfortionately, I've had Zero luck trying to reuse them. Plus there like $4-5.00 each at the dealer!

My kit from Even Flow included two O-rings for the x-over tubes....
That may have been because I ordered the weld on bung for the tube, not the radiator adapter.

Use Vasoline on the new O-rings when installing.

Also, be sure the bore is PERFECTLY clean and clear of any nicks. I ran Emery paper in all the bores and then wiped out with brake cleaner on a rag. Then, I put some vasoline on my finger and lightly coated the bore and put some in the O-ring channel and on the o-ring.

Mine had a little sputter after initial heatup, but settled in nicely after one day.

I'm going to remove the cross tube and see if I can replace the o-rings with ones I have at the house.... if not.... I guess it is off to the dealer I go.

Welp... I have all the correct diameters.... but they are all too fat.

The smallest diameter I can fit on the tubes will not go into the bores... so I am off to the dealer to see their O-rings....

What a pain in the ass.

Anyone have a dealer part number for these o-rings???

check with Don at Even Flow. I am pretty sure he has the part numbers. And if I remember correctly from when he did my car, they were not overly easy to come by, but thought he was going to start including them in the kit as mine leaked, too, at first.

My dealer thinks they have them.... off to see.

I got them... $3 a piece and only 3 of them in Orlando... I bought all three.

Leaks are all fixed.... started her up again... let the temp come up and it sat in it's normal position... backed out of the driveway, went around the block and it shot up to the HOT zone... it is now parked in the driveway to cool off and I'm going to drive it up on some ramps and try to get all the air out.

Remove the hose that runs from the kit to the rad... it'll help let the air out....

I got called into work last night and had to drive the beater Corvette :(

I think I got all the air out now. I have heat again. I think I may need to drain some coolant out of the tank... it's level is way high. I'm going to let it heat up again and drive it around the neighborhood for a while to make sure everything is perfect.

All Even Flow MArauder kits should come with new O-rings for the crossover tube (BLack in color). THe O-rings for our head fittings are brown in color. THey are two different sizes even though they appear identical. Always prep the bore of the head (crossover tube installation point) by using 320-420 grit sandpaper and brake clean to remove any rust, scale, corrosion, or old O-ring rubeer. Then use vaseline to lubricate the bore and the O-ring to ensure it does not get ripped or pinched on installation.

In the event anyone needs crossover tube O-rings, contact
evenflowcooling@hotmail.com. We stock @100 of these things at a time. THey are metric O-Rings by the way and they need to be rated for contact with coolant and temperatures over 250F to be adequate for the crossovr tube applcation. THese are NOT generic, regular black rubber O-rings.

My kit didn't come with these O-rings. Had to spend $10 at a dealer to get 4 of them.
