I noticed a SOTP difference right away. I believe some members got something like 7-10 RWHP on the dyno.
They do work just be careful with that crank bolt. :D

No but you can use a harmonic balancer puller. Very cheap to buy or rent at a FLAPS.

Heres a writeup on the install:

You'll need to install washers on the bolts with the water pump pulley or the bolts will hit the water pump.

I've done a couple of sets and there was never a need to add washers, Never had a clearance issue. Oh and by the way, if you install them and then stomp on the peddle, you WILL notice a difference. That was the one mod I missed when I put the blower on.

I have a used set coming off my MM in about two weeks...
Cheap! I think they have about 20K on them.

Yes I done 3 installs with the 4th one on my own car being a disaster. The longer bolt for the install is a must and will make the install easy without any mishaps.

I went to Sears and bought the harmonic balancer puller. It comes with different size bolts that thread into the pulley and make it simple to remove.

You'll need to install washers on the bolts with the water pump pulley or the bolts will hit the water pump.
If you have the EMP performance water pump, then you'll need the washers when installing the Steeda waterpump pulley. The Steeda pulley is thinner then the stock one and the EMP pump has a thinner snout on it so the bolts will extend though the snout and hit the housing without the washers.
I did a write up on it somewhere in the archives.

I have the Steeda UD crank pulley - there is a noticable difference BUT, it slows down your accessories. I raised the idle about 200 RPM on my Xcal2 to compensate. In my honest opinion from experience, it's great. I traded my stock one for it in a pinch during a Trilogy install just to be a good guy - kinda glad I did. When I Trilogize I will happily trade it even up for a stock pulley again.

I'll make a note of that, all my installs were on stock WP.

Whoa there, big stallions...
I didn't think there would be much interest and I was half jokingly throwing this out there. Were I serious and had them off the car I would have put them up in the classifieds.
As it is, there is a member who has emailed me twice about them and when I take them off in two weeks or so, he has first shot at them.
Again sorry for the confusion, but I didn't think this would be such a big draw. New ones aren't that expensive. Go grab a set!

After seeing this post and doing some research I think I may pick one of these bad boys up. Theres only one thing making me hesitant. Do any of you think the kit will cause me any problems with drawing power? My stereo has 500watt amp for my subs. Also the bundle of LED warning light equipped on my car?

You probably will have to compensate (Raise)with the idle setting within your tune.

You'll have to bump up your idle RPM, but other than that, I don't think you'll have any problems.

I never did UDP on the Marauder when I had it, but I do remember reading that you should only use the Steeda pulleys to be safe.
That being said, I do have a set of Steeda UDP that are going on the Crown Vic on Friday. I was not sure if I wanted to do the alternator pulley or not, but everyone I talked to said I should be fine running it with my stereo setup and as others have said can bump the idle rpm via the XCal2 if I need to.
Looking forward to seeing the results. I remember doing an underdrive crank pulley on my '93 Z28 and while maybe not more powerful, it did seem to allow the engine to rev freer.
Good luck in your decision.

I thought the March performance set were better than steeda. They are filled with a silicone type of fluid and are SFI approved.
You can "rent" a pulley puller for free at AutoZone.
You should purchase a new crank bolt from Ford or ARP as they are only suppose to be used once.
For those of you with triliogy you can "Overdrive" the crank by installing a larger harmonic balance.
Last thought: premature oil pump fail with smaller harmonic balancer? Paranoid?
