Just wondering if anyone can remember the details on the SS brake line group buy we had about a year ago? I'd be lying if I said I wasn't more than a little perturbed by the fact that my car just failed its safety inspection becuase these "high performance" SS lines are failing. One is leaking and the other is bulged in the middle.
If I could remember who we got them from I'd go back and get warranty replacement - if they'd honour it.
Anyone remember how this GB was run? Anyone?

It's either TCE or KVR. Reinhardt sells KVR and TCE is a vendor here. I noticed the clear plastic was starting to wear off the front lines cause the tire was hitting them at lock so I adjusted the brackets in hopes to alleviate it.

I think it may have been the TCE product, through this site. Sadly, mine are failing from the inside out which is a real bummer. It does not really speak to a quality product. We get at least 5 years from stock flex lines and would hope to get twice that from a high end SS product. On eyear just does not impress me.
I am sure I won't use these again to say the least.

My First set were from Kenny Brown but they are no longer supplying them. I need a set as well. I'll update if I find a supplier.

Classic Tubes is a product I'm looking at $145 a set.

Contact whomever you bought them from. See if they'll work with you.

Well, that is the crux of the problem in a nutshell. I can't remember! Bugger, eh?

I don't have any problems with mine. I have TCE.
I think you are the first to have this problem
I have never heard anyone else complain about TCE brake lines.

Too bad, eh? Add to that the fact that they probably have well under 10,000 miles on them and it doesn't look good. I'll get pics once they come off the car. It is laid up until I can get replacements.
