Powder coating

Iam thinking of powder coating 2 wheels. any 1 have any experience with this or know of any 1 that had it done...

because 2 wheels are not clear coated. but wht I would like to know did any 1 have there wheels done

The factory wheels are actually clear powdercoat.A very reputible company close to me does a great job,have had lots of things done.

If the plan is to replace the factory clearcoat, you will need to do a chemical dip / strip prior to having a clear powercoat applied.

If you plan to color the rims, then it would be easier to have them sand / bead blasted.

A reputable powdercoater should be able to provide guidance.
