I did my brakes, got nice Motorcraft superduty pads, Motorcraft rotors, painted the calipers black with VHT paint etc.

Drivers side: perfect

Pass side: put one pad on backwards. hmm. then I tried to "bed the brakes" Got up to 70 - slowed down. drove about 3 miles then I realized what I did. (dummy that I am)
:flamer:
They were crazy hot and I grooved the pass side inside rotor. Took apart, brake kleened it really well. Put pads on correct, greased the side I burned the snot out of.

Seem fine now, quiet, stop great. Dumb mistake. Any issues with a small groove not very deep on one side of the rotor?

It does not pull/drift when braking.

It will wear down and blend in over time.
