Finally got my winter "shoes" off...

Man, one delay after another, but I finally swapped my "cop car" winter wheels for our nice MM mags!! Boy, love seeing those babies back on there. No great shakes, but only you guys would understand...

Getting mine off on Monday. :banana: Bought 2 new front tires. Having the alignment done to take care of the excessive inner tire wear. Know how you feel!

I took a gamble this year removed the four snows the last week of February. Due to front tire wear at 80mph wheel shake wasn't good for the suspension components. Looks like I'll be purchasing new front snows before next winter.

Swapped mine out the day I got it back from the auto body shop... April 4th... I had waited so long to get it back I just couldn't stand seeing her with the winter wheels on her!

I had to get a new set of fronts before I switched back to my summer (stock) wheels. I ended up getting them from discounttiredirect.com for $91ea shipped.

BTW, I think it's amusing that we have a car that has such nice OEM wheels that we only run them in good weather. I'm not sure that there are many other vehicles (super-cars aside) that fit into this group.

Mine have never been off. Of course it only really saw two complete winters, but if its not snowing too bad then i'm out in it salt and all. I have yet to see an imperfection. Constant washing and waxing has kept them perfect, minus car wash scuffs.
