Went pretty well. Biggest annoyance is the dipstick is hard to read. I must have dipped it 20 times after hot, level, running etc. Fluid appears to be higher than what it really is.

I went to ACE and got some nice stainless hex head bolts, they didn't have enough - I bought 6 - Had to use 8 of the 'normal' steel hex head bolts. Not sure if they are stainless. Cleaned up the pan with brake clean first.

PML makes a good ALUMINUM pan, sand cast, +2 quarts, mag drain plug on the side.

Sweet way to change fluid:Bought some goodyear 5/16 (ths) hose, pulled the lower cooler lines, attached about 3 feet to each one. Started car - let tranny pump itself out, probably about 45 seconds. Plus I knew exactly which hose/line was pumping "outbound" towards the cooler - so I could install my Magnafine directional in-line filter in the correct direction. (whew)

When I dropped the pan there was perhaps a pint or two of fluid so I didn't take a BATH!

I took WD-40 and lubbed up the sides of the tranny and anything metal that looked like it might start rusting or already had!

Also: heres some of my stuff getting installed FRIDAY.
