I stopped by Ted Britt Ford in Chantilly, VA on Saturday to pick up some parts (air filter and rear brake pads). When I was leaving one of the guys who works? there was eyeing my DTR. He said he was surprised to have TWO MM at the dealer at the same time. There was another in their shop that has a blower. The guy also said it had a license plate surround that mention MM.net. I did not see the car. Who might that be here?

If it was a Silver Kenny Brown S, it was probably N40GL/Mark. Said he had to have work done and the car was at Ted Britt's.

Yep - it's mine. The parts were delayed, so it got more vertical than horizontal mileage over the weekend. I'm supposed to get it back today.
BTW, Tedd Britt Ford really takes care of these cars. Far nicer than Koon's in Sterling, who tried to get my warranty voided because my car was "dangerous.". After a call to Ford, they subsequently fired the Service Director (so I guess you could say I voided his warranty!).

Mark,
Thanks for responding. Too bad I missed crossing your path. Chantilly Britt is the only place I go for dealer service though I do have another trusted mechanic in Chantilly I use as well. I was just at the parts counter on Saturday. It seems they never have MM-specific parts on hand and I always come back later in the day or the next day. Same on Saturday with the air filter and the brake pads. The parts counter guy (Ian) was very helpful in locating the parts at other dealers and getting them in by afternoon.
I used to take my TBird SC to Koons in Sterling and they were good in the 90s but kinda got lame around 2000 so I didn't go back.
Hope to meet you some time.

Sorry Charlie! I didn't mean to slight you! Thanks for bringing the thread back up.
