Back in February, my wife and I were auto shopping for her.
She wants her a very low mileage certified BMW from the local dealership in Savannah, Ga. We were just shopping around and decided to stop by the Dodge dealership just for the heck of it. Well, they had a 2008 Dodge Charger SRT8 (Black) on the showroom floor, it was at employee pricing plus, plus the rebates, I ask them what they would give me for the Marauder and they said "lets see it first".
I had to see what they would give me for a trade-in for that Charger SRT8 with 86 miles on the odometer, that was selling for $40,085. Took the wife home to get the Marauder and went back to the dealership, they appraised it in excellent condition with 41,500 miles, and offered me $13,000 for it.
After sales tax, admin fees, Ga. warranty rights, and title, out the door price for the Charger SRT8 financed was $30,120.
Well, I've been an owner of that Charger SRT8 now for two months and I don't regret the decision I made. My wife is still looking for that BMW she wants, I'm sure it will work out for her too......soon.

Hey, at least it's BLACK, and you did it when the Marauder's equity was right. Good luck with this one, and fight the MOD bug.............Nevermind, Mod away!

Well, someone is going to get a very pristine and well loved Marauder, Carlos. Yours was one of the very best. Good luck with the Charger. Dennis:beer:

Well, I can't believe it either Carlos---But you now need to tell us more about the ride--the feel and if...if you have you know--pushed the pedal a bit and well,.......you know--passed anyone a bit ---so tell us all darn it!!!

Great choice, If I had to make the same decision right now it would be the same thing and possibly followed by the '10 GT Mustang, have fun with your new ride.

You might be able to get me out of my MM for a new CHALLENGER but not a charger. The challenger is just so damn good looking in person. I wasn't sure if I liked it but now that I have seen them, they look so incredibly good going down the road. Make mine white please!

Congrats!!! :banana2: I would have a SRT-8 300C or Charger if I had the cash.

My Father has owned two of them; a black '06 and a '07 Super Bee.

The 6.1 liter is a beast. He sold the SuperBee for a C6 Z06... but now wishes he kept it.

These cars pack all the punch and provide some modern goodies like Navigation, Bluetooth, Xenons ('08+), Heated seats, Moonroof... did I mention 425 hp stock

Enjoy it! I would make the trade if I could!
