While drooling over the motors at my local performance shop today, my mechanic buddy and I discussed the K&N intake and the possibility of it fouling the MAF sensor.
He said there is a kit available to convert the system from MAF to MAP, which will not get fouled, due to the MAP system not using the heated wire element like the MAF. Does anyone know where to get one of these MAF2MAP conversion kits?
Thanks for any assistance...:)

Quite honestly the "Oil Fouling" of a MAF is a non-issue and it can be easily cleaned should you over do the oiling and it does get fouled!!!
I would expect you will limit your "Mod Options" greatly by changing to a MAP system...not even sure what it entails??
How do the badges look....I always thought they look better on a black car?? Pix if you have time!!

Don't over-oil the element after cleaning and no problems with oil fouling the MAF.
Much easier, and cheaper, than a system conversion.

MAF to MAP would be going backward.

Yes, thanks for the link, I understand it better now.
I'll take everyone's advice and just watch my filter oiling...

MAF to MAP would be horrible.
The voltage conversions for tuning purposes would be hell alone even if your could get a sensor that referenced the same voltage.
Fuel mileage would go to hell, HP would drop. Seems like going back to carbs would be better.
